The final boss of EarthBound, the alien megalomaniac Giygas. Apparently in his quest for power, he did something that shattered his psyche and left him a babbing, drooling moron (all the text around him is stuff he says while you fight). That doesn't mean he's not a creepy pain in the ass though.
This started as a small ink sketch, which I traced over in Photoshop, and went off it from there.
We like the way that the simple colors and words and blurryness make it feel like Giygas is occupying all the space of the picture, the way he does in the game.
You actually submitted a colored pic. Well, well, well, look who got off his lazy bed this morning.
Case in point, the pic rocks. Red looks all glowy and stuff.

my brother beat him. I haven't ever tho. EARTH BOUND RULES!!! X3 I like how this came out. And yes... he IS creepy. Like most of the game. X3 But it's an awsome one! I forgot what Giygas looked like.
This is the first time I've ever seen Giygas fan art. I remember watching my brother square off against this boss in Earthbound. I didn't get any sleep watching that creepy sequence. Great rendition.
I love this, I love Giygas, but why the fuck does he have horns?

Like I said on AIM, the blursmear things are cool--the text also adds to it and makes it feel like Giygas is going totally bonkers.
